What we collect
We collect the information you submit when requesting a trial or using an account, such as your name, contact details and business name. We also store the profile or restaurant content you add, account information, and operational records needed to run and protect the service.
How we use data
- Review trial requests and contact applicants.
- Operate public pages, menus, accounts and subscriptions.
- Prevent abuse, protect accounts and diagnose failures.
- Prepare orders that a customer chooses to send through WhatsApp.
Sharing and processors
We do not sell your data. Data may be processed by hosting, database, storage and infrastructure providers required to operate Huwio. When you open an external service such as WhatsApp or Google Maps, that provider’s policy applies to your use of it.
Retention and security
We keep data while it is needed to provide the service, administer the account, and meet operational or legal requirements. We use access controls, encrypted connections, tenant isolation and backups appropriate to the service.
Your choices
Account owners can edit or unpublish content from the dashboard. To request access, correction or deletion, contact us through the support channel published by Huwio.
Customer phone numbers in Queue and Rewards
When a customer uses Huwio Queue or Huwio Rewards, they may voluntarily provide their phone number to take a queue ticket or to view their loyalty points balance. The number is used only for that purpose: tracking the customer's place in the business's queue and showing the customer's rewards points balance. The current version has no customer accounts, passwords or verification codes. Only the business's authorized staff can see customer numbers, through their dashboard; Huwio staff do not use them. In the current version the number is not used for marketing messages, and Huwio does not send SMS or WhatsApp notifications to customers. Queue phone numbers are removed automatically when the business closes the queue session, while rewards balances are kept while the loyalty program is active so customers keep their points. The business remains responsible for the lawfulness of collecting its own customers' phone numbers.
